How Do I Recall an Email in Outlook?
Q: Can I take back an email I sent by mistake?
A: Yes, if the recipient hasn't opened it yet:
- Open Sent Items.
- Double-click the email you want to recall.
- Click File > Resend or Recall > Recall This Message.
- Choose Delete unread copies or Replace with a new message.
- Click OK.
Tip: This works only for internal emails within the company. Anything else is very unreliable.
